Abstract
We report a case of childhood renal angiomyolipoma associated with tuberous sclerosis who had skin lesions like butterfly shaped adenoma sebaceum on face and showed seizure attack. Renal angiomyolipomas are uncommon benign neoplasm, composed of mature adipose tissue, thick-walled blood vessels and smooth muscle in varying proportions, which are found in more than half of the patients with tuberous sclerosis. When associated with tuberous sclerosis, they are usually small, bilateral and multifocal. We present a case of unilateral renal angiomolipoma with tuberous sclerosis in a 11-years-old child.
